David Wagner has long understood that people connect to people more than they connect to a business. So when he needed to build up his online reputation by gaining more reviews, he didn’t ask guests to review the salon, but rather invited them to review their stylist.
As part of the salon’s 30th anniversary celebration, Juut emailed guests from all 12 locations, telling them they needed their help with a Daymaker Surprise. The email invited guests to leave an online review for someone they loved at Juut, and made it easy by providing direct links to Yelp, Google and Facebook.
“The email worked so well, we now have 4+ star ratings at all of our location, and more than 600 reviews on Yelp alone.”
