With a mission of discounting on their own terms, Habitude developed an opportunity where guests could buy four of its most coveted spa services for the price of three when they purchased in advance. When guests enrolled in this program, they also received a Spa Series Membership Card, entitling them to a 10-percent discount on retail for a year.

To promote the campaign, Habitude created postcards, posters, promotions for the salon’s website, and newsletters. “We only allow guests to redeem them Monday through Friday, which keeps our weekends open for full-priced services,” says Gray. “We do our best to get the guest to book all the appointments when they purchase, which has improved the team’s retention and request numbers, and this has become that go-to gift for stressed or pregnant moms. So far this year, we have averaged $2,500 a week in series sales.”
