Not only does the beauty industry love to watch red carpet events, but so do the guests of its salons. With a goal of having more fun with clients through social media, Charles Penzone Salons leveraged its creativity and relevance with an altered Oscar post placing Charles Penzone in the famous celebrity selfie that Ellen Degeneres took—you know, the one that crashed Twitter.

“Although we had higher stats for other posts throughout the year, this one took the cake for creativity, and created quite a buzz throughout our salons,” Debra Penzone says.
