Salon Roux’s merchandising display to ‘kick off summer’ this season featured Bumble and bumble’s Surf Collection mixed with the salon’s summer boutique items, including printed tote bags, sea-inspired jewelry and beachy Pareo wraps. “We brought it all together with a Gordan Smith surfboard, seashells and fishnets,” says Leonard. “The display is set front and center as guests walk in and it’s generated significant retail sales—we hit our goals within the first week of the launch.” As an added bonu s, laughs Leonard, the display inspires clients to book their bikini waxes.
