Truu Salon is always looking for ways to encourage new clients to return. They developed a new guest gift, which included a small gift bag, complimentary service offers, a card on their referral program and a product sample.

“This is only one piece of the puzzle that we have instituted to increase retention, and we know it’s made a difference of a minimum of 5 percent,” says Levy. “It allows us to communicate a consistent message about items that we want our new guests to know about. Plus, who doesn’t like getting a new gift?”
