We Want to Hear From You—SALON TODAY's Take Action Guide

Elizabeth Jakaitis | January 23, 2017 | 8:51 AM

The beauty industry is filled with professionals who give day in and day out with their hearts as well as their hands, and many take it a step further by donating their time, talents and money to their communities or favorite causes. Others would like to take that extra philanthropic step, but don’t know how to get started.

In our special March 2017 Motivation Issue, we’re featuring an editorial Take Action Guide that connects charitable-minded salons to beauty companies, distributors and associations that have hearts as big as theirs are.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Developed a corporate cause or charity of your own
  • Partnered with an existing cause or charity and have programs in place to encourage your salon customers to rally around that cause
  • Developed specific awareness/educational/endowment programs that help salons/spas/beauty professionals launch their own philanthropic efforts
  • Or, have any other philanthropic or cause-related initiative you’d like to share

In 150 words or less, please describe your program, how you help salons get involved and where they can go for more information. Email your story no later than Thursday, February 2 to Elizabeth Jakaitis at [email protected] or call me at 847-415-8029.  If possible, please include a photograph that illustrates your program and/or a logo.
