Tyler Mason Salon Spa

Tyler Mason launched Davines’ Essential Haircare line last March in conjunction with the salon’s Sustainability Beauty Month. The team used repurposed and natural elements in the display as much as possible, so they upcycled empty liter bottles into flower planters and filled them with spring bulbs and succulent plants, as well as food items such as dry beans, rice and lentils to demonstrate how the containers are food-grade and can be reused.
“We used a live fig tree in our display, because all month we donated 2 percent of Davines sales to the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation,” Tammie Baker says. “We supplemented the display with natural decorative items, such as wooden crates, bamboo sticks, burlap and fresh fruit, and we placed small cards throughout the space with tidbits about sustainable beauty.”
