As the salon industry, as well as the rest of the world, faces an economic downturn not seen for decades, Cosmetologists Chicago (CC) announces a plan to help salon owners and employees through these tough times.
For America's Beauty Show 2009, to be held March 28-30 at McCormick Place, Chicago, the association is offering the Salon Stimulus Package, including a one-year membership to America's Beauty Network, free admission for all three days of ABS, a Product Knowledge College Passport for dozens of classes, plus discounts on Master Classes and the Saturday evening fashion event-all for $75.
"Why are we giving our attendees such a deal? One simple reason," says Paul Dykstra, CEO of CC and ABS. "We know attending ABS will stimulate, motivate and re-energize salon professionals from throughout the country. We want to help each and every one of them build their personal and salon business-not just at the show but also throughout the year. By offering this valuable incentive we expect many more professionals will come for the entire three days of the show-which is good for our show and our exhibitors. It's good for everyone."
To register online for the stimulus package, visit the new website at www.americasbeautyshow.com or call 800-883-7808 or 312-494-3040.
