A Better Blow Dry

Your clients all walk out the door with a fabulous cut and style, but can they recreate their blowouts at home? Jean-Philippe Salon in Dallas, Texas, now invites clients to the salon for “Blow Dry One-on-One,” an individualized course in styling. Led by Jean-Philippe and his stylists, this one-on-one class will help clients learn why a professional blow dry makes their hair look so good—and they will learn to replicate it themselves at home, every day.

The salon is offering this service absolutely free, with appointments Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The class is offered one time per customer, and an appointment is required. Clients are asked to bring whatever is in their bathroom drawer that they use to style their hair—products, brushes, combs, blow dryers, flat or curling irons—even down to the shampoo and conditioner they use.

“It doesn’t matter how much education my clients have had, or how successful they are,” said Jean-Philippe. “Most women have never learned how to properly blow dry their hair. And, because a good blow dry is the basis of a good hair style, women are walking around—some with great cuts—using only half of their hair’s potential style. Education is key.”
