The past few years, our annual men’s issue has become more engaging than ever as men continue to embrace styles that require them to use more hair product and have more frequent visits to the salon—making them the ideal client.
Yet, I can’t tell you how often I hear from the men (and even women) in my life, “I’d totally wear a cooler hair style if I had thicker hair.” “What can I do to make sure I don’t start thinning?” “Do you think I have a bald spot?”
What better timing to announce the details of our annual HAIR+ Summit than in this men’s issue.
The Summit is the only live event dedicated to helping salon pros provide their clients with solutions for hair loss and thinning hair, extensions and hair enhancement. This educational Summit addresses both function and fashion, addressing solutions, enhancement and trend.
When we launched the event four years ago, the intend was to deliver high-quality education, in an intimate setting, with an audience eager to ramp up their intel on the hair loss and hair thinning category, and offer more salon services to provide client solutions. And… it delivered.
This year’s HAIR+ Summitwill feature demonstrations, panels, sessions and hands-on certification training conducted by experts from many brands, including HairUWear Professional, Great Lengths, HIM, Hairdo, Gabor, Raquel Welch, GL Tapes, American Hairlines, Transformations and many other category leaders.
We will have a focused, professional experience that educates attendees on a variety of hair extension and enhancement application methods and hair loss and thinning solutions, in addition to supporting the solutions with education on cutting, coloring and styling, all while exploring the business and profit potential of these offerings.
Additionally, hair-loss prevention is often less of a focus than treating thinning or loss that is already advanced; but MODERN SALON’s exclusive HAIR+ research shows clients want to know their options before they start losing hair, and though consumers are concerned about hair loss, they’re not sure who to turn to for information.
