The biggest battle of the strands came to America’s Beauty Show in Chicago this weekend. Global Beauty Masters, a television show on TLC that features the most extreme hair, makeup and competition of all time, invited attendees to audition and participate.

“Global Beauty Masters follows the journey of some unbelievable stylists,” says Kim Vo, Master Colorist and Schwarzkopf Professional Global Blonding Ambassador. “The show gives salon professionals and students the ability to shine, show off their skill sets and be everything they can be.”

The competition features two categories – one for the salon professional and the other for students. Each team consists of three beauty professionals - one for hair, makeup and nails. “Competition only makes you stronger behind the chair,” says Sam Villa, Education Artistic Director for Redken. “Global Beauty Masters goal is to find hidden talent and expose it. We invite you to come participate!”

Watch the contestants on season 3 confront extreme challenges, test their limits and most of all create magic with hair during the show’s premiere on TLC - Thursday, March 17 at 6 p.m. EST
