Blo Blow Dry Bar says they have seen the struggle that many dads have when it comes to giving their daughters’ fun and wearable hair. Their location in Austin had just the response—bonding time for daddy and daughter over a fun braiding class.

Not only did this give all the hard-working moms an evening off, it was great to see all the excitement and learning taking place between the fathers and daughters.

As young girls grow up, it’s important to help them cultivate a positive self-image. This daddy/daughter event worked to help build trust and support from both parties to feel loved and beautiful at all times. Positive words of encouragement from the daughters helping to guide their dads with their hair and what they wanted to feel pretty, opened up the understanding that beauty comes from within and is cultivated by a person’s individual view of what makes them feel most confident.

On the day of the event, Blo Blow Dry Bar was packed with giggling girls and excited dads. Everyone had a great time and got to bond with others within their communities.

The salon says they are looking forward to the next in-bar workshop, and hopefully rolling out this concept across more Blo locations in time for Father’s Day.
