During their most recent salon renovation, Ortmann wanted to find a way to display Ginger Bay’s most important events right at the station, but in a bigger and bolder way that would draw guests’ attention. The team arrived at these digital mirror talkers that have an extra bonus—they hide unsightly electric wires that run from each station into the ceiling. “It was actually more economical to have the station headers to hide the wires that to run the electricity through the floor,” Ortmann says.
The salon designed three logo displays and three promotional displays for each station, with 30 of the digital stations altogether.
“We’ve been able to display our most important events in a bold way, and we’ve gotten so many compliments from guests,” Ortmann says.
