To celebrate its 2015 SALON TODAY 200 honor with its clients and to thank them for their support, Salon Spa W launched the 200 Acts of Kindness social media campaign this past March. As a team, they decided how they would surprise guests with random gifts, such as complimentary services for the day, extra-long scalp massages and gifts of their favorite products.

To ensure the campaign succeeded, every team member participated and each was allowed to select a certain number of guests to surprise. As the team shared the acts of kindness, they captured the moments on camera and posted them to the salon’s Facebook page.

“We spent $500 on the campaign and couldn’t have asked for a better result,” China Wong says. “Guests who received surprises were overjoyed, our posts performed well and many clients sent us handwritten notes or posted loving comments to our social media pages.”
