NATURALLYCURLY and MODERN SALON have expanded their curl content collaboration with the next phase of texture!, a print and digital resource for salon professionals featuring educational opportunities, the hottest trends and latest insights on what clients want from their curl expert.

Between NaturallyCurly's 19 years of expertise in the textured hair industry, and Modern Salon’s leadership in serving professional stylists and salon owners, this relationship was a natural evolution. The texture! section on modernsalon.com will function as an extension of the annual texture! supplement co-created by Modern Salon and NaturallyCurly, leveraging content previously published by NaturallyCurly on curlstylist.com. It allows Modern and NaturallyCurly to continue the conversation about texture year-round. Now, when readers visit curlstylist.com, they will be taken straight to texture!  on modernsalon.com.

“Our partnership with Modern Salon has been a ground-breaking initiative to educate and inspire stylists about how to work with curls, coils and waves,” says Michelle Breyer, NaturallyCurly co-founder and Head of Business Development for TextureMedia. “Over the past six years, through our supplement, we have provided stylists the latest trends, products and educational opportunities. By joining with Modern Salon on our new co-branded texture! page, we will be better able to serve stylists 365 days a year with the tools they need to serve their curly clients.”

“Modern Salon is happy to continue bringing the texture! conversation to our audience in new and engaging ways,” Modern Salon Editorial Director Michele Musgrove says. “This important category keeps evolving and presenting opportunities for stylists to develop expertise, grow business and serve all clients completely and professionally. Collaborating with NaturallyCurly helps us connect stylists directly with curly clients’ needs, wishes and feedback. There is a lot of great information we can share and explore with our communities and with our brand partners.”

Beginning today, readers can visit the texture! page to find educational resources, top trends and insights from clients in an updated, year-round format. In addition, stylists can continue to receive newsletters by signing up for Modern Salon updates. Sign Up Now!
