Kelly Huether, the original co-founder of Life of Riley Salon Supply, with daughters Riley and Reese, announce they have acquired the rights to Life of Riley Salon Supply and Riley Salon Resources. They plan to reopen first with a Riley Salon Resources Superstore in the previous Largo, Florida, location in October. Huether co-founded Life of Riley Salon Supply in 2013, based on a work hard/play hard philosophy and sold the business in 2023. 

Huether invites any and all brands or distributors that need distribution in the southeast U.S. and/or state of Florida to contact him about potential placement in the Superstore at kellyhuether@outlook.com.

In addition, Riley Salon Resources is recruiting commissioned salespeople to serve salons, barbershops and dayspas in Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi and Alabama. Huether will also relaunch the Life of Riley Sub Distribution model he pioneered and invites potential Sub Distributor partners in the southeast U.S. to reach out.

Says Huether, “I’ve always looked at our professional industry as a seesaw or teeter totter. The more salespeople you have, the more brands you can attract. The more brands you have, the more salespeople you can attract. Let’s do both right! The two large national distribution brands try to partner with every brand available to draw more customers to their stores. It’s time for independent distributors to join together and try something similar.”
