The color wheels are spinning! The fourth annual Color Outside the Linescompetition from Paul Mitchell Professional Hair Color presents the opportunity for the industry to show off its expertise. Color creators are invited to share their most inventive, skillful hair color makeovers for the chance to win some amazing prizes.
For the first time, this year’s contest will be held completely on social media. It’s all happening on the Paul Mitchell Professional Instagram page, @PaulMitchellPro, making it easier than ever to boast examples of stop-and-stare hair. “
"This hair competition is a great opportunity to display your mastery of hair color, claim your title as a leading colorist in the industry and win a memorable trip to L.A.!” Senior Director of Marketing Tania Kingsrud said.
Using Paul Mitchell Professional Hair Color and lightener products to create their looks, eligible colorists (licensed professionals or currently enrolled students) can enter photos in one or multiple categories including Best Creative Color Entry, Best Color Transformation Entry and Best Student Entry. One winner from each category will be chosen to receive the grand prize: a trip to Los Angeles to participate in a Color Outside the Lines photo shoot with Paul Mitchel Artistic Directors.
Contest entries will be accepted from May 1, 2019 to June 29, 2019, and grand prize winners will be announced by August 1.

Entries in this category must include before and after images side-by-side or in a single post.

• Participants must have an Instagram account and post on their Instagram profile their
competition look(s) with the hashtag for the category they are entering.
• Contest hashtags must be in the caption (not in the comment).

• Participants may post as many pictures as they would like for any or all categories.
• All images must have been created on or after May 1, 2019.
