Paul Mitchell The School Knoxville is pleased to welcome Frank and Belinda Gambuzza, owners of The Visage Group (which includes Salon Visage, Spa Visage, Visage Advanced Hair Academy, and Frank’s Barbershop) as new co-owners.
“What sparked our interest in pursuing an opportunity to work with Frank and Belinda Gambuzza was the overall ability it provides us to enhance our educational opportunities,” says Dale Jones, co-owner of Paul Mitchell The School Knoxville. “This gives our students and our educators a chance to work with national leaders in the salon industry.”
“This new structure will elevate the entire educational experience,” adds Kimberlyn Jones, co-owner of Paul Mitchell The School Knoxville. “Frank and Belinda will bring students even greater insight as to how to grow into a successful career in any salon, as well as a better understanding of the changing needs and requirements of trends within the industry.”
Frank and Belinda will step into their roles immediately, working with the existing team in order to add various opportunities for guest educators, advanced learning techniques, and ongoing educational opportunities including an advanced educational academy to follow the initial education and licensing provided through attending the school.
In addition to integrating themselves into the existing educational offerings, the Gambuzzas will be working with school to develop a Barbering Education Program that will launch in Fall 2017. As the nation’s population continues to increase, employment opportunities for barbers is projected to grow 10 percent through 2024. This growth is faster than the average for all occupations, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
