In honor of the season I am beginning a special Holiday-focused blog series in which I will give you three simple promotional ideas to implement this month on your salon’s social networks. The most exciting part of these ideas is that they only require a small amount of customization to make them your own!

December is the ‘most wonderful time of the year for many things, including building your platforms and engage with your clients and to kick-it off, the first promotional event we suggest is called a “Facebook Pop-Up Party!” Who doesn’t like an impromptu salon soirée? Pop-up parties have become a trendy way to invite in-the-know fans and followers to your salon to celebrate their loyalty in a low-cost, low-fuss manner.
Simply create a Facebook event or party at a moment’s notice! Then invite your most dedicated clients and fans by sending out exclusive invites to your Facebook fans and Twitter followers. And, theme the party! For example, show your clients how to recreate the hottest holiday trends, or invite them to enjoy a night of discounted services
Make sure your clients know that it’s an exclusive invitations a thank you for their engagement on social media and continued business!
During the event, encourage the attendees to take photos and share them on your social media sites and tag your salon. Then upload all of your photos into an album to share the next day. Not only will it create buzz for your salon, it will have your clients invested in becoming a loyal client!
Stay tuned for the next post in the series where we’ll focus on Pinterest. And, remember, it’s the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ to create buzz through social media.
