This Sunday, July 23rd, Wella presents their Trend Vision Awards in Los Angeles, with finalists from across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico bringing their best styling skills and color chops to compete for the chance to represent North America at the international competition in October 2017, to be held in London.

And while these challengers are busy on their final looks, three well-known hair designers will be challenging themselves with the debut of a new collection that will speak to masculinity through hair, fashion and music, with a new take on some of the most iconic eras in men’s fashion.

Sonya Dove, Global Ambassador for Wella Professionals and worldwide color queen, Omar Antonio, of the Sebastian International Artistic Team, known for his Avant garde takes on texture and design, Anthony Cole, an International Sebastian Professional Artist and Fashion week staple, and finally Joshua Wagner, of the Sebastian Design Team and recent Wella Cares Scholarship winner, are coming together to present handcrafted designs and interpretations of men's looks, with lots of music in the background--literally and figuratively.

"The team has chosen four iconic groups from musical history to present a visual history of the evolution of hair through music," Antonio says.

No small feat; the production will cost $10,000 and is a bi-coastal collaboration with Dove. She sent the rest of her team colored hair extensions for them to incorporate into their designs.

Here are a few behind the scenes shots of what the artists have been working on and the full reveal can be experienced LIVE on the Wella Education and Hairdressers At Heart Facebook pages this evening,  July 23rd.
