Jen Baudier, founder of Bella Style Salon in Slidell, Louisiana, announces her new salon owner partnership with Kayli Bonnet Abney, who began working at Bella in 2015.
"I am so honored to show what women are capable of doing and that you can make dreams come true, as I am living out my own," Abney says. "For seven years, I have had the pleasure of being a member of the badass standards Bella has created in this industry. Bella has helped make me who I am today and helped instill the same core values that it has into my own life. I am so invested in each one of our team members and their careers. We are a people-first salon and give high-end results, so I am committed to always elevating what Bella brings to our guests and delivering exceptional experiences."

With the new partnership came some rethinking about the Bella brand.
"We are preparing to grow Bella even bigger together," Baudier says. "We took the salon through a rebrand to showcase our brand story we have created over the past few years."
After working with a brand strategist who studied the company through client reviews and a survey, Baudier and Abney took the decided strategic direction to a branding company that refreshed the logo and website. Previously black and white, the logo and website now include subtle accent colors as well.
"We wanted the logo close enough that we didn’t confuse our guests," Baudier explains, "but the rebranding had to be clear that we are a very experience-driven company."
