Boost your summer retail dollars with these sizzling must-haves!
1. Sunscreens: It's a no-brainer. The skin care line you stock probably has a great sunscreen or sunblock. Make sure it's front and center for the next few months!

2. Hair accessories: Hats, headbands and ties pull newly styled hair away from sunscreen-slicked skin and secure from the wind. Stock them all in trendy styles and watch them fly off the shelves.

3. Sunglasses: You've just given a client a killer facial. The last thing you want is for her to go out squinting into the sun. Carry a few pairs of fashion-forward shades. People lose sunglasses all the time and are always looking to pick up and extra pair.

4. Protectors: More and more hair care manufacturers are adding sun-protecting products to their lines. Retail these special products to clients who spend the majority of their summer outside.

5. Special Shampoos: Carry a line of color-enhancing shampoos? Whether your client is a brunette looking to keep her shade rich and fight sun fading, or a brilliant summer blonde who wants to stay light, this is the perfect time of year to promote your line of special shampoos.
