Erin Arvizu, aka Tax Duchess, explains what inspired her to produce this book.  She said, “I want my clients, and salon professionals everywhere, to have a solid understanding of their financial operation so they can achieve their business goals.”

Arvizu owns and manages Tax Duchess LLC, an accounting firm founded in 2019 that specializes in salon businesses.

Approximately 34% of hair stylists working in the United States are self-employed, and are required by the IRS to keep business records and pay self-employment tax.  Without a good record-keeping system in place, salon professionals aren’t able to monitor their business progress in real time nor prepare financial reports. That’s exactly what Tax Duchess Business Organizer aims to do.

The 2020 edition of Tax Duchess Business Organizer is available for purchase and includes instructional videos and access to an exclusive online community for salon professionals.

About the Author:Erin Arvizu has more than 14 years of professional experience working in a variety of accounting settings.  Most recently, she served as Budget Director/Assistant Treasurer for the second largest city in New England where she managed a $685M operating budget.
