The Makeup Show Announces Pro Awards

The Makeup Show Pro Awards winners will be announced in May 2017.

The Makeup Showis known for bringing makeup professionals and top brands together for education and inspiration in cities across the country. This year, they are debuting The Makeup Show Pro Awards.

The Makeup Show Pro Awards allows makeup professionals the opportunity to give their favorite products industry recognition. The pro-driven awards are entirely curated by and voted upon by industry professionals. Each company that participates in at least one Makeup Show during 2017 will be eligible to nominate a product to in up to eight categories.

The awards consist of 11 categories, each representing a different product. Categories include: Tools of the Trade; Prep and Prime; About Face; Concealer Weapon; High Brow; The Eyes Have It; Lash Out; Seeing Red; Perfect Palette; New Kid on the Block; and Artistry Essentials. An additional two non-product categories will honor elite industry pros: Artist of the Year and Legendary Artist. 

Brands can nominate products until February 10 by emailing merlo@themakeupshow.com. Voting will be open to industry pros for two months beginning between the end of February and beginning of March. Winners will be announced May 7 at a special awards ceremony.
