Netra Vasti/Netra Tarpan
Medicated ghee is kept on the eyes in a dam made from black gram flour (lentil dough) for 15-20 minutes.

Purvakarma (Pre-treatment): Before undergoing Netra tarpana, there should be kaya shuddhi (body purification) and Shiro-shudhi (head purification). Kaya shuddhi is done by an elimination procedure like emesis or purgation. Shiro-shudhi (head purification) is done before netra tarpan by nasya. The channels have to be cleared before netra tarpan by washing the eyes with triphala water for a few days depending on the blockage.
Effective in relieving eye related problems. It cools, lubricates, and rejuvenates the eyes and improves the inner vision by clearing out the subtle channels associated with inner and outer perception. It helps to bring back brightness and clarity to the eyes as impurities are expelled out. It is also used to help early formation of cataract, helps with sleep, Glaucoma, Chronic Conjunctivitis, and promotes relaxation.

Shirodhara
A steady flow of medicated oil is poured on the forehead for 30-40 minutes. A thin strip of cloth is tied around the head just above the eyebrows.
Very effective in paralysis, hypertension, anxiety and other mind/nerves related disorders. It is good for headaches, and is very relaxing. Few of the oils used are ksheerbala tailam, chandanadi tailam etc.

Kati Vasti
Kati’ refers to the lower back region. Warm medicated oils are kept for 30-40 minutes in a dam made from black gram flour (lentil dough) in the lower back region. Dhanwantaram tailam, Sahacharadi tailam, etc are used.

Very effective in relieving back pain, sciatica, inflammation and muscular spasm in the lower back region. According to the condition of the rogi, the therapy is given for 7 to 14 days or more.
