SEARCHPreserving as much of original materials as possible, Elle Liu Salon finds a new home in a renovated warehouse in downtown Santa Rosa, California.
When looking for a new space for her 34-year-old salon, Fati Sariaslani decided to take on the project of renovating a former warehouse.
“The building was an eyesore for the downtown community,” she says. “It was entirely gutted and we repurposed as much of the original building material as possible. The modern industrial design pays homage to the building’s roots by incorporating lots of natural light and warm wood elements mixed with stronger metal pieces.”
