The Salon House
Champaign, Illinois
Owned by: Bryan and  Lisa Batstone and Richard Strom

To attract experienced and qualified beauty professionals looking to run their own businesses, The Salon House developed an innovative, foldout, 3D studio mailing that when opened, popped up and created a scaled-down teaser of an actual salon studio.

The mailing was designed to self-mail so the recipient is encouraged to open it as soon as it arrives, putting the stylist right in their very own Salon House studio.

“We mailed out 600 pieces to licensed cosmetologists,” says Bryan Batstone. “We saw a 50-percent increase in website page views and attracted 15 new inquiries for interviews. This piece was the final lead generation mechanism as part of an overall campaign, and it delivered exactly what we needed to fill all remaining studios ahead of schedule.”
