Owned by: Amy and Alfredo Lamparelli

Salon Bogar decided to maximize its Demandforce subscription by purchasing a set of custom-coded ecards to be sent to the salon’s client base and link them to the website. Included in the series were three rebooking emails targeting guests who had a service in the past three to six months but who hadn’t rebooked; an up-sell email targeting guests with appointments booked in the future; a thank-you email for recent guests inviting them to give their feedback; and a miss-you email and $20 gift for clients who hadn’t been in the salon for six months or more. The cards were designed by Imaginal Marketing for $1,500, and each is programmed to send to clients automatically, eliminating work on the staff’s end.

“One month after we launched the emails, we started seeing increases across the board in all areas,” says Amy Lamparelli. “Our referral program had the biggest boost—it increased by 1,000 percent and brought us $600 from referred guests within the month.”
