If you didn't think CBD has gone mainstream already, you will now. This month, national salon group The Red Door Salon & Spa launched of a new selection of CBD-enhanced services, ranging from body treatments to manicures, with facials to launch this summer. 

We've told you before about everything you need to know about CBD, an ingredient that benefits both guest and the beauty pro alike.

“The decision to add CBD to the menu is beyond being on trend in the market – it is based on the vast therapeutic potential of cannabinoids,” says Monique Blake, National Director of Body at The Red Door. “Presently, CBD, the nontoxic non-psycho-active component of the hemp plant, has an incredible healing range and impacts some of the biggest national health concerns such as pain, sleep, mood and stress. We are very excited to incorporate CBD into our services and home care assortment as part of our continuous efforts to source the best in beauty and wellness solutions for our guests.”

The Red Door’s signature Mini, Essential and Escape services will provide the opportunity to combine CBD enhancements with other tailored additions that the spa offers, such as Hot Stones, Himalayan Salt Stones, DeStress Muscle Gel, Cupping, or Deep Tissue technique, for a rejuvenating and relaxing experience. 

The CBD enhancements use Color Up Therapeutics pure hemp-based products and can be added to the curated menu of services at The Red Door locations nationwide. Color Up Therapeutics includes a comprehensive skincare line, ranging from massage lotions to lip treatments, made from plant-based, cruelty-free CBD, are formulated with botanical extracts and plant oils. The ingredients provide benefits such as increased mineralization, collagen production, moisturization, anti-inflammation, pain reduction, relaxation, and overall improved skin health.
