Luminous Medspa owner Heather Hoffman began her career 25 years ago before the skincare industry had grown to the level it has become today. Noting a lack of spa locations available in the area, Heather begun her journey with travel around the world to advance her education with study in Europe and Canada as well all over the United States to attain her status as a Master Esthetician. She focused on learning all the newest techniques and products and also trained with doctors both in the medical and holistic fields.

Heather has also created many of her own treatments to assist her clients with troublesome skin conditions such as acne and Rosacea. With her knowledge and expertise from many different areas of the beauty industry, she is able to get their skin and hair to look and feel its very best again. Her proprietary techniques and combination of products have elevated the quality of her results and she now trains all the spa employees in the exclusive Luminous methods.

"I just love creating the most incredible treatments that give clients such huge results," says Heather. "Seeing how happy they are is so rewarding for me and the reason why I love working in this industry." 

After consulting Swati Goorha Designs, Heather came to Salon Interiors with several ideas to visually engage her customers and set the mood of the spa to be bright and luxurious. Opulence was achieved with genuine Swarovski Elements crystal details on the Obsession styling chairs that are echoed in the cabinet hardware, and the chandelier lighting. Heather had key points that she felt were essential to building the spa. She says that "Milton Santos of Salon Interiors was absolutely incredible to work with. From the minute I met him with his design work until the finished project he made sure I was totally happy and got exactly what I had dreamed of. He handled absolutely everything with the project which helps such a stressful time become so incredibly easy".

In order to attain the magnificent surroundings while still being aware of environment, the decorative elements of the cabinetry incorporated panels from the 3form company's Reclaim program. This reuses and recycles materials removed from installations or from full-sized panels damaged in production and prevents these materials from ending up as waste.

In addition to four individual treatment rooms, the spa features a three station Aroma Oxy Bar for both lowering client stress and improving their energy levels. The Aroma Oxy treatment enhances health, including strengthening the immune system, enhancing concentration, reducing stress, increasing energy and generally relaxing the body.

The "glowing" LED lit shelves in her retail area were uniquely designed to appeal to the client and draw them to the product display. The dramatic lighting allows for an ample selection of personal care products without it seeming overcrowded or daunting. The retail area features a padded wall with storage cabinets that are built to match the client waiting lounge bench on the opposite side of the reception area.

Heather says that she is an extremely detailed person and wants everything done perfectly. She trains the spa staff to pay attention to all aspects of the client experience and go the extra mile. "Clients are treated like absolute royalty with our on-staff Concierge who ensures they have all of their expectations exceeded.", says Heather.  "When you walk into Luminous, we want you to instantly fall in love."
