Celebrity stylist Ryan Richman used MOP's new Lemongrass Volume Whip at the SAG Awards on Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams.

The Lemongrass Volume Whip provides maximum volume and medium hold for all hair types. Thermal and UV protectors equip it with dual capabilities, protecting against heat and preserving color to keep hair healthy. The spray mousse is formulated with lemongrass to plump the hair, along with grape seed oil and honey which add moisture and shine. Additionally, the container is a zero-ozone-impact aerosol dispenser.

“Having an eco-friendly, zero ozone impact aerosol is important to us and stays true to MOP’s values,” says Austin Baskett, Chief Marketing Officer of MOP. “The formula is incredibly creamy and every stylist who tested it so far has loved the performance.”

For Williams' style, Richman began by using the MOP Lemongrass Volume Shampoo from the line to help fatten up the hair. Then, on damp hair, he applied a generous amount of MOP Lemongrass Volume Whip to add volume throughout the style and to protect against heat.

Using a medium boar bristle round brush and a Revlon Soft Feel AC Motor Dryer, Richman blow dried one-inch sections, lifting at the root for maximum volume.

"I created a deep side part with a comb and began to curl the hair with my Revlon Pro Collection 1" Soft Feel Curling Iron, curling the hair toward the face for a retro feel," he says. "After curling I sprayed the hair with MOP C-System Firm Finish Hairspray to hold the curl."

Using a gentle scalp brush Richman brushed through the curls, pulling them back off of the face to create uniform and soft old Hollywood waves. To finish, he applied a dime size amount of MOP Orange Peel Molding Cream to his finger tips to clean up the hair line, smooth flyaways, and define texture by running his hands over the style gently. He then tucked the small side of the part behind the ear and secured with a bobby pin.
