City of Hope - City of Hope's National Professional Salon Industry will bestow the Spirit of Life Award to outstanding industry leader Reuben Carranza, CEO of Wella, the Salon Professional Division of P&G, North America. The National Professional Salon Industry recognizes industry leaders each year for their contributions at the Spirit of Life Award Gala.

The awards will feature renowned actor, author, entertainment journalist, producer and father Mario Lopez as host of the 2013 ceremony. Lopez will also receive the 2013 PBA Beautiful Humanitarian Award honoring his charitable initiatives which include raising awareness and funds for causes that support the positive and healthy development of children and young adults.

PBA Beacon - Only the best and brightest cosmetology students are accepted into the PBA Beacon program, designed to offer them the opportunity to network with and learn from some of the most successful salon/spa owners in the industry. PBA Beacon students will also have the opportunity to attend NAHA 2013.
