Internationally renowned Italian hair stylist Aldo Coppola recently succumbed to a decade-long battle with prostate cancer, but he often told his famous clientele that the disease also helped him, “Since I’ve been sick, my creativity has returned.”

One of his last creations was the design for a namesake salon in Milan, Italy, that he collaborated on with designer Marcel Wanders and furniture company Gamma & Bross. The new salon was a manifestation of Coppola’s desire to reinvent and redesign his range of salons—and this Corso Europa salon was envisioned as the flagship salon for the brand.

Throughout the salon’s 1,000 square meters, 30 stunning Nabucco double-sided styling stations are featured over three floors. The Vaspensiero wash units, which are located on the salon’s first and second floors, are designed to recline into a massage bed for the perfect relaxing experience.

At the lower lever of the iconic salon is the spa area with six suites and two VIP rooms. These all feature cocooning spa beds that are electrically adjustable and transform into wash units by uncovering an internal washbowl. In the adjacent space, the salon features a nail bar area, retail space and pedicure stations.
