Salon Gloss, in Woodstock, GA, attributes some of its growth to the experiential design of the salon.

“The idea behind experiential design is to create a memorable experience for clients that touches on the different senses of sight, sound, smell and touch,” says Owner Tim Timmons. “We created a visually pleasing space with branded light boxes, digital signage and mood lighting, all focused on our brand partner Keune.”

Sound is zoned through the space with different music to enhance each service, and the salon even created a scent journey throughout the salon, with a combination of lavender and ylang ylang in some areas and neroli, musk and jasmine in others.

“Touch is experienced throughout our space through complimentary neck and shoulder or forearm massage, as well as through the textures of fabric and wall coverings,” Timmons says.
