Located at the foot of the Hollywood Hills on iconic Sunset Boulevard, Le Posh Salon and Spa offers clients an oasis from the chaos of Los Angeles.
Working alongside Takara Belmont representatives Mike Caron and Sheila Bryan and the design company Tag Front, owner Anton Akopian and his team drew their inspiration for the 5,500-square-foot space from contemporary European design, encompassing classic elements with new lines, interesting materials and a little bit of the unexpected. “I wanted to create an open flow for a more spacious, community feeling, much like the vibe in many salons and spas in Europe,” says Akopian.
The day-to-day life of Le Posh’s employees was an important consideration when designing the space. Built-in vacuums were included in the hair stations, requiring employees only to sweep the hair. Additionally sinks were installed in the massage and facial rooms to allow therapists and estheticians easy access to water.
