Whether it’s the rapid rise of a young upstart or the slow and steady gains of seasoned pro, successfully cultivating growth and harnessing its power is critical for taking any salon or spa to the next level. For SALON TODAY 200 applicants in this category, it’s simply a numbers game—who among them achieved the highest percentage of growth from the gross sales of 2010 to 2011. But to keep things fair and to share their ideas with all owners, we challenged these salons and spas to craft an essay explaining detailing three or more areas responsible for their successful increases.
