Voila!
Salon Gatto
Hoboken, NY
Owner: Christine Gatto

Instead of showcasing dramatic makeover images on models with unrealistic before images, for their Facebook advertising campaign, the salon created both male and female makeover videos. The tagline, “At Salon Gatton, you won’t realize you’re a before until you see your after. Book your Voila! moment now.”

Spending only $100 on production, the videos were shot by Greg Tramultola, the salon’s in-house production and event coordinator, during actual appointments and were edited using iMovie. The ads ran for a month, and reached a combined 50,000 views on Facebook and Instagram and over 300 clicks to the salon’s website.
