#ShowYourRoots Campaign Urges Clients to "Wait for Us"

Step away from the box color. With so many stylists forced by the COVID-19 crisis to close their books and put services on hold, their clients might be reaching for the hair color... with very mixed results.  The struggle is real for those healthcare heroes, the doctors, nurses, and staff in medical facilities who are essential and showing up for work everyday.  And their roots are showing.

A social media campaign has launched, encouraging clients to #showyourroots and to wait for their beauty professional to tend to their neglected style.

While in quarantine or while fighting this virus on the front lines, stylists are suggesting temporary measures like PRAVANA Color Enhancers, these Colored Hairsprays  and Moroccanoil Color Depositing Masks.  Here are some salons and stylists sending out the call and rooting for clients to press pause on the haircolor panic:

It’s time to close. It is time to put health above all. Although we are sad to close we know this is for the best. It’s time for all of us to do what we can. . I want to thank my incredible team who have worked tirelessly over the past few months. Who have made such a stand for the salon and said yes to everything I have asked of them. They have produced amazing hair and worked so hard to service their clients while also ensuring the salon was a safe place for clients. I am so proud of them and I am truly blessed to have them in my life. . To all our loyal clients, thank you for these past 11 years. For now we are closing. We will be back very soon, so we encourage you to resist the urge to reach for the box dye. Thank for all your kind messages of love and support these past weeks. It has been our pleasure to have you in our space. We appreciate your loyalty more than you know. . We will be taking this time to work on education, inspiration, services and more for you. . We aren’t going silent. We will keep you up to date, bring you video tutorials, education, blog posts and by the end of this, with our help, you’ll all be able to blowdry your hair like a stylist at home. . We will be contacting all clients with up coming appointments as soon as possible. For anyone who has paid a deposit this will remain on your account to use in the future. . The salon will be closed for hair services from 8pm Wednesday 25th March. Reception and retail will remain open until Friday 27th. Limited stock available. . Please follow us on Instagram, Facebook and ensure we have your best email to stay in the loop. . Be calm, be kind, be safe. Support your local, whatever that means to you. Love love love, Susie and the Kundalini Hair Team 💜 #stayhome #kundalinihair #canberrabusiness #canberralife #shoplocalcanberra #canberralocals #showyourroots
