When veteran beauty insiders wanted to create a new brand for Arch Salon & Suites, they believed the space was the key component. They discovered the perfect location nestled in the heart of the North Loop in Minneapolis. It had light, character and a solid interaction with the neighborhood.

“A great salon has a vibe you can feel,” says Betsy Vohs, Studio BV Founder and CEO. “The space we designed for Arch Salons creates that energy and action, which creates a connection both inside the salon and out into the neighborhood.”

The designers embraced a historic building, and the resulting curves of the materials used in the space contrast beautifully with the brick and old warehouse character of the space. The two-story salon features areas for styling and spa services.

The styling floor features floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a stage-like performance for the stylists to show the neighborhood their skills as they work.

“The finished space is modern and elegant, bringing a new community focused on beauty into the North Loop,” Vohs says.
