Martino Cartier brings a smile to a cancer survivor at Wigs & Wishes Gala Event


The Wigs & WishesCancer Nonprofit started by stylist, salon owner, educator and product creator, Martino Cartier, and powered by Friends by Your Side, is dedicated to providing wigs and granting wishes to women and children battling cancer.

This year's celebration and fundraiser is a two part event.  On Saturday, November 14th,  there will be a free community celebration featuring free entertainment, live auctions, dueling pianos, food trucks and more, all open to the public.

The event moves indoors that evening, from 6:00-7:30, and will be aired virtually, paying homage to all the survivors, their families and those who lost their lives this year to cancer.

WHEN:  Saturday, November 14th 1-5pm – community celebration

              Saturday, November 14th 6-7:30pm – gala celebration with special remarks from Wigs & Wishes

WHERE:   Gloucester County Community Church

                 359 Chapel Heights Road, Sewell, NJ  08080

WHY:  A special tribute will be made to 17-year old Lily Jordan who lost her battle with bone cancer this year. And the crowning of this year’s new Queen of the Night – 30-year old Brittany Muszynksi of Fishtown who is presently fighting triple negative breast cancer. In addition to the commemorations, some 200 candles will be lit to celebrate those still fighting the deadly disease and a special presentation of the Heart of Gold Award will be given to Dylan DeSilvia, owner of Salon Cloud Plus, which helps women find local wig donations.

Wigs & Wishes® By Martino Cartier is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing wigs & granting wishes to courageous individuals battling cancer. Supporting such a large initiative is made possible by a network of participating salons, stylists, and global corporate sponsorships.  Salons and stylists throughout the world empower women by providing them with complimentary services that allow them for a brief moment to forget about their fight.
