Wella Professionals introduces its first precious oils collection, Oil Reflections, along with the Luminessence Spa Treatment, created to offer clients a luxurious hair care experience.
The collection has been inspired by Wella Professionals’ best-selling Oil Reflections hair oil, now expanded into a complete hair care collection, featuring a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask to boost the hair’s luminosity and two versatile hair oils for a choice of premium finishes.
Eugene Souleiman, Wella Professionals global creative director for care and styling, includes Oil Reflections in his essential kit for every occasion: "When I’m backstage at Fashion Week I would normally never dream of using oil on the hair as many oils are a little greasy and can weigh the hair down. But Wella Professionals Oil Reflections is a next-generation collection of products that are super-lightweight and add incredible shine and reflectiveness to the hair whilst leaving it soft and free-flowing. I also love using it on shoots because the light just seems to bounce off the hair, enhancing the color and shine to create real wow-factor results."
To complement the collection, a new Luminessence Spa Service has been developed to create an indulgent salon experience.
The new Wella Professionals Oil Reflections collection features hair care products that clients can experience in the salon or use at home to elevate their daily hair care regimen. The collection includes:
• Light Luminous Reflective Oil: a versatile, light oil for fine to normal hair with camellia oil. Hair is lightly textured with movement and subtle shine.
• Luminous Smoothening Oil: a Wella Professionals best-seller and the inspiration for the Oil Reflections collection, this perfecting oil contains macadamia and avocado oils to smooth all hair types for a glossy shine.
• Luminous Reveal Shampoo: a light, moisturizing shampoo with white tea extract that leaves the hair deeply cleansed and luminous.
• Luminous Instant Conditioner: a smoothening conditioner with white tea extract and camellia oil that locks in moisture.
• Luminous Reboost Mask: containing camellia oil and white tea extract, this nourishing mask replenishes the hair structure for a boost in luminosity.
• SALON EXCLUSIVE: Luminous Magnifying Elixir: a key part of the in-salon Luminessence Spa treatment, this Elixir contains jojoba oil and leaves hair glossy and smooth with long lasting frizz control
The Luminessence Spa Treatment, exclusive to Wella Professionals salons, begins with the Oil Reflections Luminous Reveal Shampoo and Luminous Reboost Mask leaving hair cleansed and nourished. An added dose of luxurious care is applied in the Luminous Magnifying Elixir, Wella’s first rinse-off elixir for instant smoothness and extra gloss for up to 72 hours anti-frizz effect.
The hero of the collection, and a key component of the Luminessence Spa Treatment is the new Light Luminous Reflective Oil with camellia oil, which offers clients a lighter texture with a subtle shine. Formulated with oleology technology to protect hair from natural lipid degeneration, this oil protects the hair surface so light is reflected to reveal a pearlescent and iridescent gloss.
For clients who prefer a richer feel, the best-selling Luminous Smoothening Oil with macadamia oil redirects light to reveal a glossy, radiant reflection.
With the two hair oils to choose from, hairdressers can tailor the final step of the Luminessence Spa Treatment to best suit their client’s hair type and styling needs.
