Currently 1,500 hairdressers have gathered together at the Mirage for two days of education, special events and the long awaited event—the announcement of the 2013 North American Trend Vision Awards Winners (The US and Canada)!

DAY 1, Thursday, July 18, 2013: Prep Day
Competitors are tasked with prepping their models (just hair, no make-up or wardrobe included). The first round of judging begins this day, where judges critique the technical works, hair craftsmanship skills and creative interpretation of the selected 2013 Trend Vision Trends. This year’s judges include celebrity stylist, Andy LeCompte and celebrity colorist, Jennifer J.
Competitors come from all across the United States and Canada to compete in the North American awards ceremony. Each stylist is given four hours to create their overall look.
VIP Reception: North American and International guests will gather at the Palms Fantasy Tower tonight at 7 p.m. Dinner will be followed by a presentation at 8 p.m.
DAY 2, Friday, July 19, 2013: Competition Day
To start off Friday, competitors will be allowed to fully prep their models’ hair, make-up and wardrobe. A champagne toast will be held for special guests (5 to 5:30 p.m.) Judges will do a second round of close-up judging (5:30 to 6:15 p.m.), and the night will close with the awards! The awards ceremony will begin on the red carpet, and then will lead into a grand ceremony with loud music, models and LIVE judging at 6:30 p.m.
