Dermalogica has devoted more than 25 years to empowering professional skin therapists to their highest level of success, and in January 2011, it took this mission a step further by creating FITE—Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship. This program empowers women around the world to start or grow their entrepreneurial business endeavors through financial assistance, as well as educational and training programs. FITE works with a number of non-profit organizations, including Kiva.org, a global micro-lending website that supports entrepreneurs. All Dermalogica’s authorized retailers are engaged in the initiative through social media and events and are provided opportunities to participate in supporting FITE’s various annual campaigns. As a result, more than 31,000 women around the world have startd or grown a business. Dermalogica’s support fosters education, training, materials, services and networking relationships to help women achieve financial independence, to enrich the future of children, and to nurture global communities.
