“Some of the green initiatives we embraced, included soy-based spray foam insulation, high performance energy efficient LED lighting, high efficient HVAC, energy-saving hot water tanks and low-flow toilets and sinks, no VOC interior finishes, Urea Formaldehyde-free furnishings, recycled sheet rock and steel framing, and recycled steel and glass countertops. We are in the review process, and if all goes as projected will be the first LEED Silver salon in New Jersey!”

Judges’ Comments:

“Having a clearly defined brand creates more productivity. They have done that with a salon/spa just for men.”—Crisafulli

“This is a place where a guy can get ‘metroed’ out, forget about the wife and kids and the grind of life.”—Grissler

“The styling stations with the chairs and the blue and brown color scheme create a very appropriate masculine feel.”—Patrascu

Not only is her reflection fascinating, but it is also incredibly useful for any salon owner or manufacturer contemplating their own brand.
