“Because I’m essentially the manufacturer, we believe this will truly expand the potential for tool sales in salons, giving stylists and salon owners the ability to compete with existing tool retailers and as well as exciting new opportunities for profit.”

Industry veteran, beauty executive, hairdresser and entrepreneur, Shauky Gulamani is announcing the launch of LIFE Marketing Group. With a unique new business model, LIFE Marketing promises "to bring an entirely new level of innovation and profit to stylists and distributors."
According to Gulamani, he has partnered with an experienced manufacturing facility and a team of engineers and research and development experts, all of which will enable his team to create one-of-a-kind tools, and offer them at better prices than those of competitors. “Because I’m essentially the manufacturer, we believe this will truly expand the potential for tool sales in salons, giving stylists and salon owners the ability to compete with existing tool retailers and as well as exciting new opportunities for profit,” Gulamani says. “LIFE stands for Luxury Innovation for Everyone. And that sums up our mission. We believe everyone should have access to the best possible products in order to bring their artistry to life, and the quality of these products and tools should be guaranteed. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this vision to life!"
As part of the launch of LIFE Marketing, the company is introducing a number of new beauty tools including:
BEYOND Styling and Smoothing
BEYOND, a styling and smoothing tool with is a detachable silicone sheath that covers honeycombed charcoal and ceramic plates. The smooth-gliding sheath prevents the plates from touching the hair, while the plate fabrication itself provides moist, ionized heat that seals the cuticle. Because the plates float over the hair, preventing strands from heating up, the 1 ¼-inch iron can be used on wet or dry hair without risk of steaming or sizzling. And because the hair is not compressed as it is with conventional flat irons, smooth styles retain body and bounce. LIFE Marketing Group has been granted seven patents on the BEYOND™ Styling Iron.
MAGNUM Battery-Propelled Clippers
“I travel the world,” says Gulamani, “and on one of my trips, I plugged in my clipper and it blew up because it didn’t have dual voltage. So I decided to create a portable, powerful clipper/trimmer that didn’t need electricity.” The result is MAGNUM, a battery-operated clipper. Magnum offers 150 hours of power with a single, replaceable AA battery. The tool also offers a stationary guard with five settings—to create everything from a shadowed look to a perfect trim. “Guards are like socks,” Gulamani says. “They always seem to disappear. So the MAGNUM offers multiple guard settings in a single blade. No on and off.” It also comes with two additional detachable guards, blade oil, a cleaning brush and a limited one year warranty.
BEYOND and MAGNUM are just the beginning, according to Gulamani, with many more innovations in production and on the drawing board. “Our business model not only allows us to offer super competitive pricing,” he notes, “it also gives us the ability and agility to respond to market needs and run with our ideas the moment creativity strikes.
