Besame Sample Set

Call it the Mad Men effect-- vintage styling and feel is influencing everything from hairstyles to lingerie to cocktails.  Bésame Cosmetics, a full makeup range including bullet-case lipsticks, foundation, rouge, lip glazes and balms, mascara, eyeshadow, and powder, was a tribute to the  romance and ritual of makeup application.  Bésame will make its Cosmoprof Las Vegas debut this July.

“The salon and spa segment is our fastest growing market,” says Fergus Hernandez, co-owner of Bésame Cosmetics. “Our clientele appreciate the vintage inspired packaging and quality products- not to mention the niche-limited edition feel to our line.”

The new launches will include a Violet Brightening Powder, Eye-Allure; a new cake liner and mascara set, a limited edition with Kenley Collins (Project Runway All Star) and a Rose Lotion.

Bésame’s co-creator Gabriela Hernandez is a makeup artist, cosmetic historian and author of “Classic Beauty, The History of Makeup” a reference book that chronicles historic trends in makeup and the changing definition of beauty.
