“Last Summer I started to pursue a serious mission of being able to run my entire million-dollar business from my phone,” Derek Anthony, owner of D Anthony Salon, Nyack, NY, says. “I started to look at the landscape of how modern businesses are run and what makes them the most efficient, profitable, and successful. The first step towards that goal was working with Phorest Salon Software. From their phorestgo app, to building a customized app for my business, to the A.I. features, as well as other companies that sync technologically with them, they have helped elevate what we as salon professionals do and how we do it. Their support has been outstanding and seamless. Our clients instantly noticed the difference in the way that we communicate with them and with how seamless our check in and out process quickly became. Lastly, the feature that they offer for clients to review our business has literally exploded the amount of reviews we get on a regular basis. We are excited for the future!”

DETAILS:
Date of Opening: September 2015. We moved from a much smaller location (5 chairs) that we were in from 2011-2015. We slowly and steadily grew our team by building a strong training program utilizing Arrojo Education and by hiring the majority of our hairdressers directly out of school. The current salon now has 10 chairs with 10 full time hairdressers and 5 in our training program. We have also expanded our service menu to now include Microblading and Laser hair removal. We believe strongly in the value of a high-level team culture as well as employee morale. We know that when our team morale is high, client experience will be at the highest level.
Description of Style: We have a modern feel with an open concept. When we designed the Studio we had the idea of creating a Soho NYC look with a Miami vibe throughout the space.
