L’ANZA Healing Haircare is proud to announce that Salon Anovin has joined the ranks as the newest L’ANZA Healing Center. L’ANZA Healing Artist Kate Volarath opened the Chicago-based salon nine years ago, and in that time she has transformed it into her dream salon where she enjoys working with clients to tailor designs that suit their daily lifestyle. Salon Anovin will offer full-service luxury to their clientele, including hair color, cuts, nails, waxing and makeup application. The space will also be made available for hosting parties and makeup/hairstyling classes.

When recalling her inspiration for opening Salon Anovin, Volarath says it was her “dream to create a salon atmosphere that was classically chic, yet also inviting, relaxing, and efficient for all services. The time was right to grow, and I knew I wanted to partner with L’ANZA.  L’ANZA products do amazing things for my clients, and I am in love with the natural botanicals, and environmentally friendly products that perfectly coincide with my lifestyle and vision for my salon.  The integrity of the entire brand completely won me over.  They offer all the support I need – business building, education, and a passionate Team dedicated to my success.”

“Kate’s intuitive nature allows her to create a personal, unique relationship with her clients, giving her the ability to go above and beyond to make their vision come to life. Her creative aptitude, accomplishments, and leadership skills are what make her the perfect person to lead other growing L’ANZA stylists and push them to achieve their true potential. We can’t wait to see what she does next!” says David Berglass, CEO and President of L’ANZA.

The Invisible Work of a Rebrand

In this rare essay, the president of a haircare brand takes us behind-the-scenes into a world we never see when we pick up a product off the shelves--the arduous, thought-probing, second-guessing journey of rebranding a legacy product line. Not only is her reflection fascinating, but it is also incredibly useful for any salon owner or manufacturer contemplating their own brand.
