Project Runway and celebrity stylist George Ortiz has passed away on Nov. 15, 2016.
According to Ortiz's Facebook and Instagram profiles, he worked on Project Runway, was frequently on set as an editorial stylist and had a number of celebrity clients, including Glenn Close.
Many in the industry are mourning the death of Ortiz. Models, photographers, fellow stylists and more have shared their sadness on social media:

Marinaro said on Facebook that he began putting together a documentary about Ortiz in 2010.
"I never finished, and much of the footage I have lost somewhere," Marinaro says. "Please share this if you knew him, loved him and want to remember seeing his love and passion for life and his craft.”
