As JUUT Salonspa celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025, the renowned salon group proudly announces the promotion of Coco Wagner to Vice President.
Founded in 1985 by industry visionary David Wagner, JUUT has grown from a single salon in Minneapolis into one of the most respected salon companies globally. Today, JUUT operates salons in Minnesota, California, and Arizona with over 300 team members, remaining privately owned and passionately purpose driven.
JUUT is best known for its unique culture of Daymaking, inspired by Wagner’s national bestselling book Life as a Daymaker, which encourages intentional acts of kindness and presence through beauty. JUUT’s mission is to “Transform the world with beauty, one client at a time.”
As Vice President, Coco Wagner will lead efforts across marketing, education, client experience, team growth and brand stewardship. She brings a global perspective to her leadership, having studied at Bard College (NY), Jönköping International Business School (Sweden), and The American University of Paris, where she earned a degree in International Communications.
Coco has played a vital role in the company’s evolution over the past decade, with a focus on cultivating talent, elevating service standards, and creating growth opportunities for artists and team members. Her leadership style blends strategy, empathy, and creativity—perfectly aligned with JUUT’s values and vision
“Coco embodies what JUUT stands for,” said founder and CEO David Wagner. “She’s forward-thinking, values-driven, and deeply committed to helping people grow. Her promotion to Vice President is not only well-earned, it’s an exciting step for the future of our company.”
As JUUT marks four decades of leadership in the beauty industry, this milestone year will feature special events, celebrations, and initiatives to honor its artists, guests, and community — all rooted in the enduring power of Daymaking.t
